Two disasters have happened over the past few days; one in Japan, and one in Providence, Rhode Island. You probably know of the one in Japan, but the other one involved our co-host Big Red, the Dropkick Murphys, and a copious amount of alcohol. Fro and Kate get on a discussion about the “haunted” Legend of Zelda cartridge. Jack brings to the table two new meme’s, including an angry UCLA student’s hate-filled rant against Asians, and a 13-year-old singer that will make you want to kill yourself. Well, if you live in Japan, it certainly was the worst week ever. Here’s what we did this week: Episode 96 - When Kate learned about how a certain type of fungus in Brazil has been found to basically turn ants in to zombies, she creamed herself. Jack also creamed himself, after reading the story about the world’s youngest grandmother, who’s only 23 years old. RadioYou Boston Podcast 3/11/11 - Rarely has a show ever been done in the midst of an ongoing international event, such as the catastrophe in Japan. That sentiment didn’t stop Jack from ragging all over the situation seconds in to the show. So the world has pretty much come to an end over in Japan, but we did our best to shy away from that subject. Instead, we talked about Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and how Facebook is trying to kill your computer. |
