We’ve been plugging it for weeks, and now that 2010 is here, it’s time for the first annual Talk Radio Meltdown BEARD OFF.

First annual, you say? You’re incinuating that this will happen next year? Fuck you.

The Beard Off is a competition between two numbnuts who are dear friends of the show – Chris “Acc” Acciardi, who has guest hosted numerous times on Talk Radio Meltdown and hosted a seperate talk show with Jack, and Ryan “The Jew” McMillan. Both men are capable of growing massive amounts of facial hair in a matter of days, unlike Jack, who has yet to hit puberty.

It’s been assumed that the victor will be determined within the first week and a half of the comeptition, although we are not picking an official winner until the end of January. The criteria for winning is which beard is “best in show,” and the contestants are restricted from shaving, trimming, etc.

Since our own hole and events coordinator, Katie, is putting together this whole thing, she is rewarding the winner with a “beard cake,” which we can only guess will be a confectionary full of hair.
